New Words

Just a quick brag...

Memphis turned 16 months old this week and has definetly added to his vocabulary!
His newest words are Hat (sounds a bit like ass....) and Ball. He's starting to put sentences together... okay, just one: ''Hi daddy,'' but it's a start.

He can correctly identify his mouth, nose, eyes, ears, head and toes when asked. He understands most everything we ask him to do, such as ''Go find your other sock',' ''Please go put this in the garbage for mommy'', ''Where's Annabel?'', ''What book would you like to read tonight?'' It's neat to see him understand and interact with us like a real little person.

We're working on animal sounds now. So far we've got cow & ''moo'' down pat!
