Rosy cheeks!

We got just enough of the white, fluffy stuff to merit a trip outside last weekend.

While I was pregnant, my mother-in-law restored an old sleigh that she used for her kids, so while Daddy shoveled the driveway (ah, the joys of winter!), Memphis and I pulled out the sled and took a stroll around the yard. He had a hoot!

Besides our daily walks to the post office last winter, Memphis and I basically hibernated. This year will be different, though. Memphis just loves being outside! As much as I hate cold weather, it's extremely heartwarming to see your little boy trudging around in his ''big boy'' snowsuit, enjoying winter for the first time!
