Update! Update!

Well, Janet had her 20 week ultrasound on Friday (November 10th) and it's a........ baby! Haha... the kid kept his/her legs tightly crossed! Needless to say, Janet was a bit upset because she was really looking forward to finding out the gender, but the important thing is that Janet and the baby are doing great! She may or may not be able to get a 3D ultrasound, in which case I may be blogging with a gender update shortly! I've been told that most people are thinking she's having a boy, so I'm going to guess GIRL! It would be very cute for Memphis to have a little girlfriend, I think... ;)

Speaking of Memphis, we had a brief meeting with his caregiver at the daycare this morning. Apparently we meet with them ''officially'' twice a year to discuss the progress our child is making. The meeting only lasted a few minutes because Memphis is doing great in all regards!! He's friendly with the other children, the caregivers and pretty much anyone he meets (he has never made strange), he's doing better at naptime, he never cries when we drop him off, etc. He is hitting all of his milestones and is right on track developmentally! Yay! I am hoping that this has something to do with the fact that he was breastfed... although I've enjoyed nursing him, it is hard and can be challenging physically and emotionally, so it's nice to see my hard work is paying off!

Oh... and I turned 27 yesterday... eeshh... time is flying by! ;)
